Workforce Development Program
The workforce development program offers on-demand courses to students and professionals who are interested in pursuing a career in aerospace, more specifically space debris mitigation efforts. The Space Debris accredited certificate will provide an advantage in hiring for participants, and will include a broad scope of material. On-demand courses offered include space debris law, legal problems with mitigation, orbital mechanics, and space debris mitigation strategies.
Education Workshop Series
The hands-on workshop series is intended to provide an understanding of the importance of space and space debris mitigation to students, as well as inspire an interest in the field.
All grades:
Design and build models of spacecraft that can collect or deorbit space debris.
University Students:

Advocacy Program
The Space Debris Foundation works with federal agencies (FCC, FAA, and DOC) and Congress to streamline regulations and law that designates agency and operator responsibility. Our program aims to balance safety and innovation within the commercial sector, as well as promote the ideals of orbital sustainability and responsible stewardship for operators.
Think Tank Program
The think tank program aims to further inform decision-makers and the public through conducting scholarly research, generating ideas, and providing intellectual resources.
